Buy a qualifying HP Windows PC from the OmniBook, Spectre, Envy, Elite or Zbook ranges between the 17th April 2024 and 30th June 2024.
Claims must be made within the period beginning 15 days after your purchase and ending 45 days after your date of purchase, giving a window of 30 days to claim.
Send your qualifying trade-in device to our Promoter OPIA within 30 days of receiving your claim approval email. See FAQ’s for details on qualifying trade-in devices.
Once your claim is successfully validated you should typically expect to receive your cashback paid to your nominated bank account within 21 days of receipt of your validated email.
To take part in this promotion, trade-in an eligible laptop, desktop or workstation after purchasing a qualifying HP Premium Notebook from the HP Store between 17th April (00:01 – local time) and 30th June 2024 (23:59 – local time). After making your purchase, visit our partner OPIA to submit your claim within 15-45 days of your purchase or delivery date. You’ll need to provide the details of both your purchase and your trade-in device.
OPIA will let you know within 5 working days whether your claim has been approved.

Once your claim has been approved, OPIA will provide everything you need to trade-in your old device, including a prepaid postage label. Simply send OPIA your device within 30 days of receiving your claim approval email.
Please make sure your package includes any barcodes OPIA provides. Without these, OPIA won't be able to identify your device and approve your reward.
Once OPIA receive your device, they check it over within 10 working days to make sure you've met the terms of the promotion.
If you have, OPIA will send you a confirmation email and pay your cashback reward to your nominated bank account within the following 21 days.
This promotion is applicable to notebooks from the OmniBook, Spectre, Envy, Elite or Zbook ranges. To double check your chosen PC is eligible you can view all qualifying models or call our sales team who will be happy to assist you further.
To be eligible for trade-in, your old laptop, desktop or workstation must meet the following criteria:
• It can be any make & model of laptop, desktop or workstation
• No more than 6 years old (manufacture date), see the 'How to check the age of my trade-in device?' FAQ for more information
• Must power on and hold charge for at least 15 minutes (if device has a battery)
• Must be returned complete with both a power supply and battery
• Please erase all data and information from the device
The following could lead to your trade-in device being rejected.
Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of rejection reasons:
• Missing hard drives
• Missing or faulty battery
• Cracks in the case
• Keyboard failure
• Loose hinges
• Missing HDD caddy
• Screen issue
• Screen cracks
• Missing hinge cover
• Missing AC adaptor
• Dead mother board
• Locked BIOS /password protected device
You must return your old device to OPIA within 30 days of your claim being approved.
Our partner OPIA will provide you with a pre-paid postage label once your claim has been approved. Simply follow the steps in your approval email to package and send your device free of charge to OPIA.
To ensure that your trade-in laptop, desktop or workstation reaches OPIA safely, pack your device as securely as possible.
It is recommended that you do the following:
• Pack your item with the power supply and battery, securely in an undamaged box or container that is strong enough and durable.
• Use high quality packaging products and padding / filling materials to prevent the contents from coming loose, damaged or activated by accident.
• Always remove old stickers when reusing boxes to avoid confusion during delivery.
• Protect edges and sharp parts with robust, well-secured edge protection.
• Delete all data and information from the device
To be eligible for trade-in, your laptop, desktop or workstation must be no more than 6 years old (manufacture date). Please see ‘Does my old laptop, desktop or workstation qualify for Trade-in’ FAQ for qualifying criteria of your trade-in device.
To find out the year of manufacture of your trade-in device, please follow these simple steps:
My trade-in device is a Windows laptop, desktop or workstation
• To find out the date of your PC, please visit your manufacturer's website and insert your device's serial number to view its manufacture date.
• Alternatively, you will need to install on your trade-in device Microsoft's official tool 'Windows PC Health Check' (How to use the PC Health Check app ) which, once launched, will allow you to verify its age.
My trade-in device is an Apple device
• From the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of the screen, select 'About this Mac'.
• At the 'Overview' screen, look under the model name to find the year of manufacture and serial number of your device. For example: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017).
Please note: the BIOS date doesn't always correspond with the manufacture date. We recommend checking the information with your manufacturer.
Individual Participants may submit a maximum of one (1) Claim per Promotion Product purchased and subsequent Trade-In Device submitted, up to a maximum of two (2) Claims and corresponding Rewards in total per household.
Business Participants may submit a maximul of one (1) Claim per Promotion Product purchased and subsequent Trade-in Device submitted, up to a maximum of five (5) Claims and corresponding Rewards per Business.
Your reward will be paid by OPIA to your nominated bank account via a bank transfer.
